Ribbon Bar is a new feature of sharepoint 2010 which is available in Microsoft Office 2007. SharePoint 2010 follows the same thing as it is in office 2007.Now comes to what Ribbon is. Ribbon is basically a toolbar that appears across the top of each page in SharePoint.
